Nice! I see what looks like a Serrano in the middle - which seems strange that it would be alone?

What are the purple ones?

Those are some delicious plump looking peppers. It's pretty hard to get them that pretty. What sort are they? Did you just water them or did you use some sort of fertilizer?

The purple ones are some kind of Chinese pepper that we bought from the seed catalog. I thought I was going to be getting multicolored peppers but they're all purple. They're beautiful though and flavorful, and quite rambunctious.

Jalapeños and some sort of Chinese peppers we ordered from the seed catalog. Potting soil and water.

Ours are eaten by rats. We have a rat problem this year.

Yeah. Our dog like to eat the also...

Our neighbor has some chickens and we are told that this is a BIGLY attractant for rats. I will take this up with my neighbor when an opportunity presents itself.

Nice haul!

Our peppers haven’t produced this year but just had a bumper roma tomato crop come in.  Wife is going to make home made red sauce from them later this week.  It’ll be amazing!

Salsa is good, too, and bruschetta.

I haven't folded for two days because hot and I don't need a space heater in the shed while I'm out there laboring.

With that  heat wave out there I'd imagine not. Any rolling blackouts expected in your area?

We have not been effected by any rolling blackouts.

I should snap a photo of all the little red Thai chilis that I’ve picked (and am drying out). It’s been a good year for that, but a bad year for everything else. We normally get 80+ lbs of to matoes from our garden, but we’ll be lucky - very lucky - if we get 20 lbs this year.  Something caused more than half the plants to die off.
